Couch Cab Update on COVID-19

As many of you know, due to COVID-19, Governor Walz has issued a shelter-in-place order for the entire state of Minnesota. We want you to know that moving companies are categorized as essential businesses and we will continue to operate at this time. We will continue to proceed with your moving inquiries and bookings. We have been experiencing a higher than normal call volume since the outbreak began so please know that we are doing all that we can to get back to you, answer your questions, and keep everything on schedule, but don’t be surprised if our response time is a bit slower than usual. Our apologies in advance. 


We would like to assure you that we have stepped up our precautionary safety measures during this time. We have implemented hand washing procedures, a routine truck sanitizing program, and been taking many additional precautionary measures; such as signing paperwork on your behalf, wearing rubber gloves and masks if necessary, as well as wiping our credit card machines with sanitizing wipes before and after each use, to help battle this virus and ensure the safety of our staff, clients, and partners. We are doing our best to continue practicing social distancing and requiring staff members to stay home when not feeling well for 14 days.


We would also like to request at this time, that if you, or anyone in your household has been experiencing symptoms, or has been in known contact with someone that has contracted the virus if you would please refrain from having our staff come out to facilitate your move until everyone has been symptom free for 14 days. This will help ensure that we keep our staff healthy and we do not unknowingly pass it to others. We will gladly get your move rescheduled for a future date. We would really appreciate your help and support with this measure.


Understand that because of this, this could impact our staffing levels at some point and ultimately affect your move date and time scheduled with us. We are currently doing everything in our power to maintain our schedule and agreed upon times with our clients. At this point in time, we are fully staffed and have additional personnel to call in, if the need should arise. 


We truly appreciate your business, understanding, and flexibility through these trying times and hope that you and your family stay safe and remain healthy. Together we will get through this. We will just need to remember to support each other, remain patient, and be as flexible as possible, on many fronts, until the storm passes.
